Santa Santa Go Away

Boy, the cabin fever kicked in today! Another couple centimeters of the white stuff meandered down this afternoon. After visiting a friend for an hour over a cup of tea in her cozy kitchen my world was righted again. What would we do without our girlfriends? And mine dig to the roots of issues. Can be painful at times but who needs another person who just listens and agrees? Zero tolerance for that!
Trying to complete a Christmas mat so that I can put it away and think Spring. Or at least embrace Winter. This little pattern is one I recreated from an antique rug. Not sure of the size of the original but mine is 11" X 13".

I will re-do both sets of eyes. The reindeer's appear too small and Santa's are too "fuzzy" looking. (Could be the schnapps though).

What is your opinion on the tree to his right? Too faded? Struggling with the balance of the antique look vs. losing my tree altogether. Your input is appreciated.

I've hooked this vintage reproduction as well as the Karen Kahle Fluted Vase rug in your previous post. Guess we have the same tastes in rugs.

Very sweet. This pattern is on my bucket list to hook one day, though I have never seen such a small version before. Just MHO, but I like the way you hooked the tree on the left better.

I like the reindeer and Santa eyes. Great background. Hugs, Kat
