Loving Kindness

The last couple days since Lucy’s death have been hard but we’ve had so many well wishes and words of support. Our landlord gave us a tulip bouquet and other friends brought us a Lebanese meal. So many lovely people understand animal love.

I’ve put more work into my Woolen Memories rug.

The blue vase is more of a teal.
For me, keeping my hands busy helps the sadness.
As do walks, prayer!, and time with others.

Love your latest rug. I have been looking at antique hooked rugs on Pinterest lately for inspiration, but I really need to finish my rug I started last year before working on another one. Janice

Your rug is looking great and I like the teal. Rug hooking has kept me sane thru my ex's cheating and subsequent divorce, thru the loss of beloved pets and struggling alone here. Thank goodness for rug hooking and yes, prayer.

Love is all about relationships and when we have a death, the relationship on the physical level is broken but the emotional relationship lives on. It's a deep hurt that needs time to heal. Experiencing your loss during Covid is even worst.

Your rug is looking great and rug hooking can help a little to ease your pain.

Take care, stay well.
Hugs
