Here is my 10.5” x 22” turkey runner. I’ll finish my design with a dark brown plaid wool peeking out. Question: there is more space between the front end of Ms Turkey and the bittersweet. Should I add a falling leaf or acorn to balance?
And our rug group is making wooly trees but I experimented with wooly wreaths first . Here is the progress I’ve made:
It’s several cream shades on a 10” grapevine. My co-chair and I decided against these because it takes lots more wool and wire and this size wreath is not cheap or easy to find here. I got this one at a thrift store and removed the tattered scarecrow and shredded leaves.
I am happy with my Apple SE 3rd edition. I finally got a new phone. My last was a 7SE from 2017. The sales assistant looked at me like I had two heads.

You're as bad as me. I wrote to Lauren asking if I should add an extended stem and leaves or add another star or two at the bottom of my eagle. Laruen wrote back saying, "overthinking it again". So I guess she was telling me it was okay as it was.
OH, forgot to say I love your geometric background.
I often overthink. Thanks! The background was different but enjoyable to hook. Sheepunderfeet
Love your Turkey , the colors are so pretty & think it looks wonderful the way it is .
I want to make a nice full wreath like yours , it does take a lot of wool ...keep going , it looks great !!!
Your turkey is looking great. I wouldn't change a thing. I love your background.
I haven't signed in for the wool tree class as I didn't want to start another project, and I didn't even have time to work on my new rug that has been sitting there all summer. I'm being pulled in too many different directions at the moment.
I have a SE iPhone with 32 GB and it's 5 years old. It's probably a dinosaur by now, I don't use the data and mostly use the phone to call people to check the weather and take photos. I have to charge it daily. It's due for replacement but I'm hanging on for as long as I can.
I hope that you had a relaxing weekend despite all the rain.
Hugs, Julia
What a great rug. Mr. Turkey is very handsome and what a great background!
Saundra's comment made me laugh ;-)

Love, love, your turkey rug!!! It's so perfectly old looking - and that background!! I don't think you need to change a thing...that little spot of blue to the right front in the background I think counterbalances any difference in size. Your wooly wreath is going to be great. I'd love to take a class for the trees. I'm sure I could find instructions on line, but haven't bothered to look as I DON'T need another project in the mix right now. Enjoy your new week ahead! ~Robin~
This wreath is an ongoing project. I would not recommend one this big . Thanks for runner comments. I added a border yesterday
Julia, be sure to come and hook. Sounds like you need a break. I had 32 GB too. We must have had twin phones! I had broken my screen for the second time so it forced my hand. Sheepunderfeet
Do you overthink too? I think I may but I’m not sure; let me ponder this a while 😊 sheepunderfeet
Thanks Robin. I did add a dark brown plaid. It peeks out about 3/4 inch around the edge. There is a YouTube tutorial but it’s vague on wire sizes. Etsy sells a download. My wreath is on a 10” grapevine but the wool is tripling its size. Argh! Sheepunderfeet
I love this turkey! I purchased a wool tree kit years ago and have never done it yet. Janice
The wool trees are surprisingly easy and much faster to make than the wreaths. And I’ve seen the finished ones going for high prices on Etsy. Make it! Make it! Thanks for your comments Janice 😀 sheepunderfeet
