Hook-ins Rock!

Even if you’re busy helping put it on, hook-ins are a blast! On the warmest day of the year so far we were a group of 80 or so from all over New Brunswick.

Prizes, keepsakes, silent auction, hooking, eating and hooking, it was fun!!!

This mat was done by the legally blind woman. We outline, she fills. Amazing.

This mat was about 8 inches big and you’re supposed to “walk the labyrinth” with your finger. It was strangely satisfying.
End of day and I’m tired!

Yes, it was a blast. I enjoyed every moment of it and look forward to the next Hook-in.

I took pictures but forgot to charge my cell phone last night, but was able to get quite a few pictures. I haven't uploaded the pictures on my computer yet as I need to recharge my phone.

See you at the pot luck.
Hugs,
Julia

What a huge group you have gathered. Obviously THE place to be. Thanks for the rug show and the work done by the blind woman with the help of outlining is wonderful.

So much creativity and some healing time from pandemic years

Maybe the McAdam hook-in is next? I hope you post photos on your blog. And yes I’m so looking forward to the potluck.

We were supposed to have 80 but I think it was more like 70. I’m used to the bigger gatherings now but I am predicting that small ones are in our future. Again.

It was the place to be! These events are very much anticipated by hookers around the province.

That is quite the hook in, but must have been fun, seeing all the rugs, the others were working on.

It was wonderful to see folks and also realized the empty places marking women we’ve lost in last three years

So much work went into it, even with lunch ordered in.
