Colds and Cutters

Writing from a state of achey body lethargy.
Summer colds are worse than winter colds
cuz everyone else is outside playing!
Supposed to be at a beer fest trying
New Brunswick ciders
I never had a taste for beer.

Soooooo I’ve found myself in the position
of needing a new cutter.
I’m drawn to the less expensive Bolivar
but the BeeLine/Townsend looks super too.
I’m googling from my sick bed to compare them.

What about y’all? Preferences? Other cutters?

I have a Townsend with cartridges from #6 thru 10. Also a Bliss and Fraser 500 with blades from #3 to #8.
Have used the Bolivar at Barb Carrolls house and it was fine but always got confused with the number size comparisons.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Townsend, but I've heard good thing about the Bolivar, too.
A huge investment but so worth it.

Hope you feel better soon. I am no help with a cutter since I cut my worms by hand the old fashion way. Janice

I have a Townsend and love it. But, looks like the Bolivar works with the same "engineering"...sooooo, maybe shopping by price is the way to go? Also, consider the price of cartridges....Townsend came with one. And I've since purchased one or two more. And the size of the clamp...how thick of a table will it attached to?
Summertime is not a good time to be sick...I hope you are get well soon!
